Head of Marketing
Job Overview
Our Head of Marketing will own our marketing and lead generation, developing and implementing marketing strategies which will strengthen Huler’s position in the market place and deliver a clear return on investment. As Head of Marketing, you’ll require a passion for work place technology and its capacity to have a positive impact on employee experience and engagement. This role will underpin and integrate with both outbound and inbound business development, but also support all sales, customer success and post-sale initiatives.
The Logistics
At Huler, we support our teams to work how, when and where they’re most productive. We will never undervalue being together in person to aid communication and collaboration across all areas of the business. During your onboarding journey, there will be some travel to Stoke HQ (we cover travel expenses), this is to ensure you get the best possible onboarding experience. Marketing, sales and CS teams get together at least once a month, plus quarterly company get togethers at our HQ in Stoke-on-Trent – the rest of the time remote, with no invite needed to work from HQ at any other point.

What to Expect
The Interview Process
First, you’ll meet Suzi, our Head of People, a call to get to know you and for you to ask any questions about the role. We’ll also find out why Huler interests you and what you feel you can add to our team. At first interview, we’d love to hear examples of how you’ve proactively contributed to business growth through marketing/ lead gen activities. Next, you’ll be invited to our HQ in Stoke-on-Trent to meet our CEO Nicky, and some of our Senior Leadership Team.

The development and delivering of our marketing strategy with a long-term impact on lead generation, customer acquisition and market penetration
Growing Huler’s brand recognition across UK, Europe & US
Working closely with our Head of Sales, enabling them to achieve their business objectives
Working alongside the CS and product teams to define marketing strategies for new and existing SaaS features and bespoke services
Analyse market reviews, consumer trends and competitor activities to inform our marketing and lead generation activities
Champion and promote, internally and externally, our brand activities including PR, communications and external recognition
Create a calendar of web-based marketing events utilising the skills and knowledge of our talented teams across webinars, roundtables and product demonstrations
Responsible for the overall events marketing strategy; creating new, innovative, and data-driven ways to maximise ROI and meet associated revenue targets
Working alongside third-party marketing agencies to enhance our digital presence (SEO, PPC, Email and Social etc.)
Build strategic partnerships and identify great collaboration opportunities which contribute to our business objectives
Create, review and edit compelling copy for emails, landing pages, blog and social posts, and ads that drives clicks and conversation and always speaks to our customer and engages out audience
Using a combination of Hubspot, Google Analytics and Excel, analyse, optimise and report on marketing performance to increase KPIs and ROI
Previous experience as a Marketing Leader for a growing B2B/ SaaS company, ideally with experience in workplace tech
Strong understand of technology marketing (SaaS, IT or Tech products)
Measurable and documented evidence of supporting revenue growth through marketing led, lead generation
Expert presentation skills, and confidence in explaining the benefits of both a SaaS based employee experience platform and bespoke worktech solutions
Experience creating engaging content which resonates with C-suite executives/ senior decision makers
Experience using automation and analytics tools e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, social analytics
Solid understanding of modern, digital marketing techniques
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SaaS marketing
Experience scaling and managing a diverse marketing team
