As a Sales Development Representative you must first and foremost be a people person, the person who lights up a room, who is easy to talk to and whose enthusiasm is infectious. You’ll be in the driving seat for researching, generating and building new business opportunities for Huler so you need to be able to build rapport quickly and with confidence. Not every call or contact you make will be a win, and that’s okay, so you’ll need to be resilient and ready to push forward.
You’re a fast learner and will be excited by the thought of getting to know everything about Huler, our brands and our products so you can quickly and confidently talk about our solutions and industry.

What to Expect
Our aim is to complete the interview process in two stages which will include meeting Suzi our Head of People and Joe our Head of Sales, the interview may also include a mock sales phone call but we'll give you the details of this in advance and with time to prepare. As well as questions that start with something along the lines of 'Tell us about a situation when...', we're big believers in bringing our whole selves to work so we're really interested in you as a person. So, expect some questions around what you do outside of work, what excites you and why you'd love to be part of our team.
Sales Development Representative
Stoke, Manchester or Remote
£25,000-30,000 + commission
Conducting lead generation research, identifying relevant contacts in the HR and L&D space
Working alongside our marketing and sales team to develop eye-catching email campaigns and sales strategies that cut through the digital noise
You’ll be on the phone talking Huler, following up any leads and opening the door to face to face or remote meetings
Managing your own pipeline of sales, providing our Head of Sales with accurate forecasting of warm contacts
You’ll follow up any calls and voicemails with personalised communications, being mindful and respectful that the ‘sell’ never becomes invasive or disruptive
Ensuring you effectively handover prospect sales to the Head of Sales
Quickly getting up to speed on our products and features so you can confidently lead product demonstrations
Utilising our CRM (HubSpot) to ensure all contacts and progress are recorded
1+ years’ experience in a sales/ lead generation role within a digital and preferably SaaS environment
Experience delivering in a target-driven environment
Commercial awareness and good business sense
Proven background in high volume outbound sales
Demonstrable experience using CRMs, ideally HubSpot
A team player who sees the bigger picture as well as focusing on individual targets and success
